Paintball....

Paintball is a sport

Paintball is a sport in which participants use compressed-gas (either CO2, N2 or air) powered guns to launch paintballs-marble-sized gelatin capsules containing a washable dye-at other participants. Among the most common of the many variations of the sport is a version of capture the flag, in which two teams of players attempt to seize each others' banner without being struck by a paintball. Another common variation is total elimination, in which one team wins when all members of the opposing team are eliminated by being struck by a paintball.

Speedball is faster

Speedball is much faster and competetive than its brother woodsball. It is usually played on a much smaller field roughly the size of two tennis courts. Many speedball fields use inflatable bunkers and are generally sized for teams of three to ten. Since the opposing teams are much closer together, there is a lot of movement and a lot of "bunkering", or running up to an opposing player's bunker and eliminating them from a close distance. Speedball is usually considered to be more teamwork oriented than woodsball due to the structure of the game. Also the markers are generally much faster, smaller, lighter and more expensive than woodsball markers.

Paintball Rules...

There are many variations of paintball games that you can play. The three most basic paintball games include capture the flag, neutral or center flag, and elimination. In a capture the flag paintball game, teams on opposing sides try to capture the flag of their opponents all the while protecting their own flag from capture. The winning team is the first team to hang their opponent’s flag at the chosen location. Victory is also achieved once the winning team eliminates all the players on the opposing team.

Meanwhile, a neutral flag or central flag game is similar to a capture the flag game; but there is only one flag at the center to be contested instead of one from each team. The objective is to bring the flag to the opposing team’s end of the playing field.

In an elimination game, victory is achieved by the team that shoots and eliminates all the opponents from the other team.

There are two other variations of paintball: rec-ball and tournament. Most paintball beginners are introduced into the sport through a rec-ball game. Most will move on to tournaments as they acquire more skills and experience. Meanwhile, other players are devoted rec-ballers with no interest to playing in a tournament competition.

Rec-ball or recreational paintball is typically the game of choice for players who view paintball as a way to relieve stress and have some time off from work. Paintball tournaments or tourneys are for serious paintball players and are a great way to display teamwork as well as individual talent. Both rec-ball and tournaments have their distinct appeal. Other players like to combine rec-ball and tourneys.

For beginners, you can try all the types of paintball games and see which one you like the best. Ultimately, the type of game doesn’t really matter as long as you are having fun, playing a safe game, and sticking to the rules.

Paintball is a simple recreational game that you can enjoy, either as a formal game or as a way to relax with friends. If you are beginning at paintball, you will want to make sure that you know all of the paintball rules before you walk onto the field. This can help you to keep the game moving, and will allow you to have an easier time to knock opponents out of the game in order to win.

Paintball rules begin with the concepts behind paintball. There are two teams that are made at the beginning of the game. The teams will be divided evenly in order to play against each other at the beginning. Most likely, the teams will consist of five to ten players, especially if you are in a more formal setting, like a tournament. You will then be set onto a field, each team on either side of the field. Usually, this space will be built with mounds, bunkers and even buildings that will allow for protection as well as a maze as part of the game.

The overall objective of the game is to get to the other side of the field in order to capture the flag. Whoever captures the flag first is considered to be the winner of the game. Often times, there is also a rule regulation, meaning that if time runs out, whoever has the most players left, wins. This is then mixed with knocking others on the opposing team out of the field. You will do this simply by hitting them with a paintball. As soon as they are covered, they are out of the game.

This is one of the most important parts of the paintball rules. An addition to shooting the opponents with the paintballs is to make sure that the impact doesn’t hit them too hard. If a player is within five feet of you, it is better to ask the player to surrender. As soon as anyone has surrendered or is hit, they will hold up a marker to show that they are out of the game. One part of the paintball rules that can be added to these is with winning the game. As mentioned above, the overall win will be determined by who captures the flag and returns it to their home team. Another way to win, of course, is by time expiring. Beyond this are ways to keep track of points for the winning team if this is how you choose to play.

Each player that is hit will cost one point for the total. If you hang the flag, it will be a total of five points. This means that if you are playing by the point system and have less people out, there is still a chance that you can win the game.

Overall, the paintball rules are not difficult to understand or set up. Because this game is more of a recreational activity, it is based around the paintballs with only one overall objective. However, the particular game, with its few rules, can prove to be hours of fun spent outside. By knowing your paintball rules you can be sure to avoid any confusion while you are working towards the win.
